When I pronounce classy, my mind spontaneously thinks vintage and when I think of a vintage look, I usually think of my mother and grandmother’s closet (mostly the latter’s).
Let me tell you, I grew up with an extremely classy lady, my father’s mother, who spoke Chanel, wore Givenchy and used to put on lipstick and a pair of earrings every time, even when going outside for two minutes to take out the garbage.
I am lucky to still have access to few pieces of her wardrobe, pieces that are still in marvelous shape, that I can wear when I need to dress to impress.
One of these pieces is the medium beige skirt with pleats that I chose to start my week in. It is a very fit choice for office-wear, it is decent, elegant, made out of proper fabric, easily ironed, perfectly tailored and very feminine. Regardless the agenda of your day, you cannot go wrong with this skirt, whether one needs to deliver a presentation, make a sale, recruit new team members or attend their own evaluation meeting. It just cannot go wrong!
To complete the classy look, I chose a bleu long sleeve shirt and a pair of re-interpreted silver Pointed Toe T-straps (both made by #Zara) with matching manicure and pedicure.
I am aware that I inspire a 50’s kind of look, still a classy feminine look is ageless!
These being said, I am more than looking forward to your feedback,
