One of my favorite things about autumn is the fact that I can take out my boots. They can become the central piece of so many various outfit choices, with skirts, trousers, jeans, dresses, and so on. Just make sure that you choose the appropriate type and you are set.
As long as it is not raining, I am happy to put on my suede (calf) mustard coloured Zara boots and head to work. I chose to combine them with a black long shirt-dress, in order to emphasize on their colour and shape. Both the dress and the boots are loose, for overall coherence.
About suede, it is a very delicate and pretentious type of leather, far softer than standard (full-grain) leather, though, less durable. Subscribing, if the skies split and they pour water, please leave any suede item at home, unless you want it ruined.
Originally, this type of leather was used for women's gloves, but with time became popular being used also for shoes, bags, coats, jackets and other accessories, as well as a lining for other leather products.
I personally would choose it with any occasion for a day in the office, as its delicacy adds a touch of softness and elegancy however one chooses to combine it.
Hope you get as many occasions as possible this fall to enjoy it!
