It is weekend, it is a beautiful Saturday and I have just let go of my office mood. No more shirts, business skirts, trousers…who am I kidding? I will never let them go! :)
But, as much as I love those items, whilst spare time, I enjoy exploring, especially because I can get out of the corporate boundaries and play with such a great variety of items and clothing pieces.
Now, as a parenthesis, as spare time and beautiful things related seem to be my today’s post tenor, I would like to share with you few more than outfit and pieces of clothing combinations ideas. Of course, it will get down to that in the end, but meanwhile, how many of you are fascinated with cultural trends? More specifically - pop art? I for one count myself among those who are, especially with pop art movement. I am bringing it up, as it is one of my hobbies during free time to document, not exclusively on movements and trends, but on the artists and promoters’ lives and way of living them as well.
One of the artists that I have a deep admiration for is the parent of the pop art visual movement, of course, I am referring to Andy Warhol. He is an icon to me, a genius, an endless source of inspiration for beauty. As it has been said by those in his circle, did he copy everything? Yes! Was everything original about him? Yes again! I am fascinated!
Therefore, I have decided to create a weekend outfit with a dedicated A.W. T-Shirt as a central piece, and, as the variety allowed so, use all the other elements from the same website: an edgy denim mid skirt (Missguided), a pair of gorgeous high heel boots (Gino Rossi), a casual shoulder bag (Tommy Hilfiger), a casual brown-green jacket (Pepe Jeans) and a pair of black leather gloves (Simple).
This is what I would wear on a weekend date, or during a chilly afternoon, while sipping lemonade, warm tea or white wine with my friends in a nice place.
Please find attached images of all the above mentioned items that make my weekend combo.
