Usually the second half of December at work is one of the nicest periods of the year. Everybody is relaxed, jolly, Christmassy, smiling and wrapping everything up in order to prepare for the holiday.
For those who know me, I am not one of the most joyful persons out there when it comes to winter holidays, for one, I do not like cold weather and the riot and fuss tend to tire me. Nonetheless, my dear Reader, I do enjoy wearing cozy jumpers, fluffy sweaters, funny beanies and warm brogues.
I will come back to you with an article dedicated to the above mentioned pieces and about how can one pull them off in a business environment.
On the other hand, if it is not snowing and it is not freezing, I also enjoy dressing up and putting together offbeat, yet elegant winterish outfits :).
Please find below the outfit I chose for my last day at work before Santa comes, hope you will find it inspiring: over the knee suede boots (Zara), leather wrap skirt (H&M), over sized coat (Esprit) and my Dad's shirt. I chose to accessorize with a green leather vintage handbag and matching gloves - both having belonged to my grandmother.
The dark blue - brown - green tones combination inspires a winter, cold look, which I chose to complete with dark cherry lipstick and an intertwined pony tail.
Meanwhile, my dear Reader, with my cold look, but the warmest thoughts, I wish you a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and may all the good in the world come upon you!
