Quote: I will stop wearing black, when they invent a darker colour
January 10, 2018
Hope my message finds you #light!
I wish you a great new year and as usual, a happy always!
So, back to work, let's resume the on-going projects and embrace new challenges.
Growing up, green was my all time favorite colour. Nonetheless, black is always my choice when I want to pull off an office outfit that I know for sure will not fail me. It is a simple choice, it is within everyone's grasp and it keeps one on the safe side.
Now, I am aware of the fact that a head to toe black look may represent different states of mind, but here, I write about business looks, so it is about an overall appropriate appearance, the choice of fabrics and tailoring and wisely put together items for a specific niche, more focused on rational, rather than emotional.
I did choose for my outfit a pair of burgundy stiletto shoes, to go with a combination of a simple shirt and a pair of flare business trousers, still, I would not say no to all black accessorizing.
Cannot say the same for an all white overall look (one needs to be really careful and to master the items choosing - especially the accessories) , but when it comes to its opposite, it is a classic.
P.S - there is nothing darker, so always keep to day-time makeup and simple hair style, just to avoid going over the edge. :)
